In 2007 while taking a 16-week filmmaking course, Brad Duncan came up with the “Broken Heart” brand to use on the first short film he wrote and directed. Then in June 2009, he created a blog called “Broken Heart Publishing” where he posted a couple of original short stories. Since that time, Brad’s writing endeavors have become more serious, and in addition to hosting short fiction and scripts, Broken Heart Publishing has evolved into his self-publishing brand.

On this site, he occasionally will post short stories and short film scripts. He also plans to offer for sale other projects that are currently under development. Right now, his first published work, Sweeten Village Vol. 1 (the first three chapters of his webcomic with artist Beck Seashols), is available in the Broken Heart Publishing store.
